I always try to use the time when I have to wait for something creatively. It's way more relaxing than scrolling on the phone.

I like to draw at airports, bus stops, cafes, and while waiting in line at the doctor's office. I try to find something interesting in the surroundings, but usually I add something of my own.

But it can also be a tool to relief difficult emotions and relax your mind and body. This time I invite you to join me for a free Community Draw sessions organised by a wonderful @teatamirawhakatipu team - it will be a session focused on Drawing for Anxiety.

We will lose ourselves in drawing techniques (that I practice myself) designed for relaxation and managing anxiety. I will show you how to engage in a creative practice that’s lighthearted and stress-free, perfect for when you don’t feel like taking on serious projects.

We will do exercises aimed at having fun, relaxing, and embracing our natural way of drawing. Because art can also be simple and easy. And sometimes that's all we need. ❤️
