Mural – Liliput Libraries Project

I was invited to take part in a volunteer project World Languages Liliput Libraries organized by Frankton Library and QLDC in collaboration with a group of local migrant artists.The project had its launch in March 2023 which was celebrated with the local community.

I decorated the cabinet for European languages in collaboration with the artist from France, Adeline Toso. We used some classic motifs from our national children literature (like Mr Twardowski who ended up on the moon, from one of the Polish legends). We also depicted magical creatures from all around Europe – inspired by folk tales and myths. We added our favourite European food classics to spice things up as we both love cooking 🙂
